David L. Hitchcock, Esq.
David’s practice encompassed a broad spectrum of intellectual property, which offered clients a unique combination of experience uncommon among many intellectual property lawyers. His experience included litigation of patent, trademark and copyright matters; licensing of patents, trademarks and copyrights; due diligence and acquisition of intellectual property. Few attorneys could match David’s depth and breadth of expertise, which allowed him to provide clients a global perspective across the full spectrum of intellectual property.
His broad experience in the patent area included medical devices; explosives; paper processing; oil and gas exploration, recovery and processing; gauges; laboratory analytic devices; liquid crystal displays; helicopter components; electronic toll tags; fiber optics and electronics manufacturing and compositions. In the trademark area, he enforced and defended clients with respect to trade dress and trademark claims relating to retail stores, restaurants, apparel, consumer electronics, and professional services. And in the copyright area he had experience with infringement litigation, licensing, co-development agreements; and outsourcing agreements.
